How to register for sales tax in Utah

Follow these steps to register for your Utah sales tax license online. Registrations must be completed through Taxpayer Access Point (TAP). Official Utah State Tax Commission.

    Prepare all your information to complete the online Utah Business and Tax Registration Application (Form TC-69).

  2. Apply online via TAP portal

    Visit the Utah Taxpayer Access Point (TAP) website and complete the online registration application.

  3. Receive license & create TAP login

    You will receive your tax license information via email. You must then create your own TAP login to file and pay.
