Cash Back Offer Terms and Conditions August 2026
Sign up your clients to Online Bill Payments and earn a $300 Cash Back for each qualifying client.
These Terms apply to Xero's offer to provide Eligible Partners (as defined below) with $300 cash (Cash Back) for each Qualifying Client (as defined below), up to a total of 500 Qualifying Clients across the Promotion (the Promotion). If you participate in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility. The Promotion begins on August 19 2026 and ends on December 31 2026 at 11.59pm UTC, or earlier once 500 Qualifying Clients have been recorded across all Eligible Partners (the Promotion Period). To be eligible for this Promotion (Eligible Partner), you must (a) be an accounting or bookkeeping practice with active Xero partner status in the United States at the time your client qualifies; and (b) have had the Promotion details communicated to you directly from Xero during the Promotion Period (via email or a Xero event). The limit of 500 Qualifying Clients applies across the whole Promotion and not to each Eligible Partner, so Cash Back is issued in the order that clients qualify. The Cash Back will be made available to the primary contact for the Eligible Partner (as determined by Xero) and cannot be transferred or assigned to any other person.
Qualifying Clients. A client of yours is a Qualifying Client where (a) they are a Xero organization in the United States that first sets up Xero online bill payments during the Promotion Period; (b) they successfully complete the identity verification required to use online bill payments during the Promotion Period; (c) they complete payments totalling $500 or more (excluding fees) using Xero online bill payments within 60 days of setting up online bill payments; and (d) they are connected to you as their advisor in Xero on the date they meet criteria (c) (the Qualifying Date). Only completed payments count towards the $500 payments threshold. Payments that are cancelled, failed, returned, refunded, reversed or charged back do not count, and neither do test payments or any payment where you, your client, or a related entity is the party being paid.
Setting up online bill payments. In order to participate, your client will need to set up online bill payments (if they haven't already) by December 31 2026, then select one or more of their bills awaiting payment in Xero and select make payment. They will need to complete the additional one-off details to verify their business and process the payment using online bill payments (note payment fees apply). You cannot complete these steps on your client's behalf unless you are authorized to do so and your client consents.
One Cash Back per client. Only one Cash Back is available for each Qualifying Client, no matter how many partners are or have been connected to that client in Xero. Where more than one partner is connected to a client on the Qualifying Date, Xero will decide which partner is eligible in its sole discretion. If your advisor relationship with a client changes after the Qualifying Date, the Cash Back does not transfer.
Cash Back redemption. Within approximately 35 days of a client becoming a Qualifying Client, the Eligible Partner will receive an email from Xero with instructions to redeem the Cash Back. Xero will not redirect, transfer or reissue this email or Cash Back access link to any other person or email address. Xero uses third-party rewards management partners, including Impact.com, (Partners) that help provide these Cash Backs. To redeem your Cash Back, you may have to register for an account and accept any agreement(s) as required by such Partners. Xero is not an agent or representative of these Partners, and is not party to any terms you enter into with them. Those Partners are responsible for the operation of their platforms, and are responsible for fulfilling your Cash Back. You can contact Partners for any operational questions.
Closing date. You must follow the instructions from the relevant Partner to receive your Cash Back. If you fail to register with the Partner, fail to maintain an account in good standing or are otherwise ineligible to receive disbursements from the Partner for any reason, Xero will have no liability to you with respect to any Cash Back that cannot be disbursed as a result.
Tax. Any tax liability and/or reporting obligations arising from the receipt or redemption of the Cash Back are the sole responsibility of the Eligible Partner. You are responsible for assessing your own tax implications and should consult with a professional advisor as required in connection with this Promotion.
Legal and Privacy. Xero reserves the right to change or cancel this Promotion at any time at its sole discretion. This Promotion and use of the Xero services are subject to Xero’s terms of use and privacy notice, and by participating in this Promotion, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
Xero reserves the right to remove your access to this Promotion, including cancelling or not issuing the Cash Back, if it reasonably believes that your entry into the Promotion or an action required to be taken for Promotion is not in good faith, attempts to “game the system,” (e.g., making changes to your subscription to take advantage of the offer, creating fake accounts, or setting up multiple fake accounts on the same billing account, etc.), is fraudulent, and/or violates Xero’s terms of use. Xero will determine in its sole discretion, what constitutes an Eligible Partner and Qualifying Customer. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with third-party or other Xero offers.
Limitation of liability. Other than liability that can’t be excluded or limited by law, Xero and its affiliates shall not be liable in any way for any loss or damage (including direct, indirect, or consequential loss) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion. Xero is also not responsible or liable for any acts, omissions or the performance of Partners, and any engagement with them is at your own risk.
