Xero Announces Jonathan Meltzer as Managing Director, US

San Mateo — July 27, 2026 —Xero, the global small business platform, today announced Jonathan Meltzer as Managing Director, US, effective today.

Meltzer joins the role from his position at Xero as SVP, Customer Growth and Experience, where he led the team responsible for driving growth and retention across Xero's small business customers and accountant and bookkeeper partners. He will report to Maninder Sawhney, who will join Xero as Chief Business Officer in August, bringing sales, marketing, business development and customer experience together under one leader. In this role, Meltzer will also partner closely with Matan Bar, CEO of Xero's US and Melio business, to deliver integrated accounting and payments solutions for US small businesses and their advisors.

Prior to his current role, Meltzer held senior positions at LegalZoom as VP, Product Management and Business Operations, and at Google as Director, Ads Marketing. Earlier in his career he held product management and marketing leadership roles at Intuit across QuickBooks.
