Product Survey Competition
Prize competition terms and conditions
The product survey competition (Competition) is run on behalf of Xero Limited, with its registered office at 96 Saint Georges Bay Road, Parnell, Auckland 1052, New Zealand (Xero), and is open from 9:00am 18th Dec 2023 NZDT to 11:59pm 8th of Jan 2024 NZDT (the Competition Period). Xero may extend, cancel or amend this Competition and/or review and update these terms and conditions on its website at any time, at its sole discretion.
To be eligible to enter the Competition (Eligible Entrant), entrants must:
- Be an existing Xero customer with an active subscription;
- Have received the product survey email on or about 18 December 2023;
- be 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in entrant’s region); and
- be a resident of Australia, New Zealand, USA or UK.
For the purposes of the Competition, an “Eligible Entrant” will be a user of the Xero account or an Accountant or Bookkeeper of a practice that is in the Xero Partner Programme. It excludes any subscriber trialling an unpaid version of the Starter, Standard, Premium or Ultimate plan (AU, NZ and UK) or Early, Growing or Established plan (US) and any subscriber in arrears on their subscription payments (unless otherwise specified by Xero in writing).
Xero employees are not eligible to enter the Competition.
In order to enter the Competition, and Eligible Entrant must, by the close of the Competition Period:
- have validly completed each of the questions in the product survey, sent via email on or about 18 December 2023; and
- at the end of the survey, ticked the box to enter the Competition and validly entered their email address.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per Eligible Entrant.
Eligible Entrants will have a chance to win one prepaid gift card (Prize) and the monetary value of the gift card will differ by each region as follows:
- NZ: $50NZD
- AU: $50AUD
- UK: £50GBP
- US: $50USD
There are a total of fifty-five (55) Prizes available to be won and each gift card is subject to relevant terms and conditions of use including relevant expiry dates. The 55 Prizes are allocated per region as follows:
- 1 of 15 $50 vouchers (AUD)
- 1 of 20 $50 vouchers (NZD)
- 1 of 10 £50 vouchers
- 1 of 10 $50 vouchers (USD)
Fifty-five (55) winners will be drawn from all correct entries following the end of the Competition Period and no later than 8th of January 2024 (Winners). The draw will take place in London, United Kingdom by One Picture.
The Winner/s will be notified by email, or using any other contact details you give us and by entering the Competition, you also consent to Xero’s nominated agency, One Picture, contacting you if you are a Winner. If we have made a reasonable attempt to contact a Winner, and a Winner has not responded within three (3) business days, or a Winner is unable to use the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and Xero will randomly choose another Winner. In the event of any dispute, Xero’s decision is final.
Xero does not warrant that the Prize will meet the Winners’ requirements or that it will be suitable for any particular purpose. To avoid doubt, all implied conditions or warranties are excluded in so far as is permitted by law, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose.
The Prize cannot be transferred to others, or exchanged for cash or other benefits and cannot be split.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xero and its affiliated companies shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence), for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss), or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition.
By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees to participate in any publicity related to their Prize, and that Xero can use the Winners’ likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording) in any media for an unlimited period of time without payment, to promote Xero and any of its other products.
By participating in the Competition and by submitting any contact details, each Participant consents to receive the latest news, special offers, promotions and information from Xero by email, TXT or other channels from time to time. If at any stage you do not want to receive this information then please let us know, or use the ‘unsubscribe’ feature on communications we send you.
The Winner agrees that Xero may withdraw the Winner’s right to their Prize if:
- Xero’s name is, or is likely to be in Xero’s reasonable opinion, damaged or brought into disrepute or ridicule by the Winner or by being associated with the Winner; or
- The Winner is involved directly or indirectly in any situation (whether the relevant situation occurred before, during or after the Competition Period) which brings, or in the reasonable opinion of Xero is likely to bring, any of the Winner, Xero or the Competition into disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule.
All use of Xero’s services is subject to Xero’s Terms of Use. Any personal information which we collect from you can be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
