Accessibility at Xero

Accessibility logo

We are driven by our purpose to make life better for people in small businesses, their advisors and communities around the world.

We deeply value diversity and inclusion, and examining how we can improve digital accessibility across our platform is a priority. We are proud to have a dedicated Digital Accessibility team and we’re committed to meeting the global standards for accessibility as set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Accessibility Status

Xero.com substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. To achieve this, we audit and test Xero.com using assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack) and conduct accessibility user testing with people with disabilities.

Notes for PDFs and Alternative Text for images

Media releases as PDF:

Media PDFs - we have a number of media releases both current and historic which are released as PDF format. To request an alternative format, or for any other media enquiries, please contact the Xero media team.

Alt text:

Images on Xero.com contain alt text. Some images are decorative, and do not add any new information for the reader. Work is in progress to remove alt text where it is applied to decorative images.

Feedback

In line with our values and our accessibility commitments, exploring ways we can improve the experience we offer our customers will remain an ongoing focus for Xero. Your feedback is really valuable to us. If you do have anything you would like to share about the accessibility of your experience, please email us at accessibility@xero.com.
