Global winner: Constantia Food Club | South Africa

The Constantia Food Club is a community buying group that sources directly from small local regenerative farmers. The Xero funding will go towards a larger clubhouse with more refrigeration, more storage, and a bigger shop front, helping build an ethical, transparent and resilient food system.

Suitcase Records | Australia

Suitcase Records is a family-run state-of-the-art vinyl pressing plant in Brisbane. They plan to use the Xero prize money to help fund the first round of imports of a bio compound that will dramatically reduce the carbon output of making records.

More Granola | Canada

More Granola creates fresh baked, extra-chunky granola made from real ingredients that taste like a treat. The funding will go towards reformulating their packaging and recipe, replacing almond flour (a water-intensive US crop) with Canadian-grown sustainable oats and brown rice flour.

Kiwi Skips | New Zealand

Kiwi Skips is an on-demand skip hire company with a zero-waste focus. They’ll use the Xero funding to help create the infrastructure to house a conveyor that will make it safer and more efficient to sort construction and demolition waste.

Style Theory | Singapore

Style Theory is a fashion rental business which gives women access to a wardrobe of well-made designer pieces. They’ll use the Xero funding to facilitate designer brands to use the Style Theory platform for rentals and reselling their products.

Oat Float | United Kingdom

Oat Float helps households reduce their plastic footprint by bringing packaging-free groceries to their street. They plan to expand their reach by upgrading the battery on the float to deliver to more customers and by investing in technology to offer a delivery subscription.

Hand Me Up | United States

Hand Me Up is an e-commerce solution that makes it easier for families to shop second-hand for their kids. They’ll use the Xero funding to increase sales through online advertising, move to a bigger warehouse space, and use more sustainable packaging.
