About Xero's customer referral programme

Xero is offering the opportunity for customers to earn a £50 reward for every friend, family member or business contact ('referee') who subscribes to any Xero business edition plan (includes Xero’s Starter, Standard, Premium and Ultimate subscriptions) and pays for their subscription for three months. Additionally, referees who sign up to Xero with your unique referral link will receive 50% off their subscription for three months.

Xero’s referral programme is powered by PartnerStack (https://partnerstack.com/), a specialist customer referral platform that helps give you, Xero customers, the tools and resources you need to promote the Xero product to referees, and reward you for it!

Xero users who are invited into an existing UK-based Xero organisation or partner account (not just the subscriber) are eligible to become a Xero referee as a part of this programme. Only a select number of Xero customers were invited to join the referral programme, based on their engagement with the Xero product. However, if youʼd like to join check out this link and follow the steps to Xeroʼs customer referral programme by creating a PartnerStack account. Unfortunately, this programme is not available to Xero partners, such as accountants and business partners, at this stage. Xero reserves the right to remove any referrer we find in violation of our terms and conditions. Only Xero users (anyone invited into an existing UK-based Xero organisation or partner account, not just the subscriber) are eligible to refer referees to Xero. Making a referral

1. Click on the ‘Refer to earn £50’ button on the page linked below. 2. Fill in a few short details within the PartnerStack Platform to set up your referrer profile. 3. Share your unique link with referees. NB: Your referee needs to agree to our terms of use and can't be a current or previous subscriber of a Xero organisation. 4. Once your referee has been a paying customer for three months, PartnerStack will contact you to confirm that you're eligible for your reward and again when the reward is ready to be claimed (NB: this may take up to two months after becoming eligible for the reward).

Any messaging platform of your choice – including by post! Please note, we only accept and record referrals sent to us through the PartnerStack platform referral link. Your reward and your referee’s discount can only be activated through the unique link you share.

1. Create a Xero subscription via your unique referral link. (Your unique referral link will look like ‘https://xero6379.grsm.io/XXXXX’) NB: For your referee to be eligible for the discount and for you to receive the £50, they must sign up via your link and not any other link and must have cookies enabled to allow PartnerStack to track this. 2. Be a paying customer for three months. That’s it! Once Xero has verified your referee’s completion of their three-month payment milestone, you’ll receive an email from PartnerStack notifying you of your eligibility for your reward, and again when the reward is ready to be claimed (NB: this may take up to two months after becoming eligible for the reward).

You can share your referral link with as many referees as you choose. However, keep in mind that you will only receive a reward after your referee has been a paying customer for three months and after PartnerStack and Xero have confirmed your eligibility.

Currently, this referral offer is only valid for UK-based Xero organisations and cannot accommodate international referrals between countries. Please keep an eye out for updates, as the Xero team hopes to expand this programme.

No, we only accept and record referrals that are sent to us through the referral link created via the PartnerStack platform. Your reward and your referee’s discount can only be activated through the unique link you share.

Monitoring the status of your referrals

PartnerStack’s solution comes with a comprehensive dashboard and built-in reporting capabilities. You can view the number of clicks your links have generated and monitor revenue generated. Sign in to PartnerStack here to see the status of your rewards. Please note the following as you read your program summary. Rewards are shown in USD based on the USD-GBP Fx rate from Open Exchange Rates (https://openexchangerates.org/) refreshed hourly. At the point of redemption (see ‘Rewards & Withdrawals’), you will receive the full GBP 50 for every successful referral. For Xero's customer referral programme, only the earned and pending rewards will be displayed. Sold data is not tracked in PartnerStack and will only show $0.00 USD. Rewards will show as pending following your referee's attainment of the three month payment milestone. Note there may be a 7-day time lag for pending rewards to show. You will be notified via email when payment is ready to be redeemed. This can take up to two months following your referee's three month payment milestone. Redeemed rewards show as ‘Earned’. Please email support@partnerstack.com with any questions relating to PartnerStack and payments, or use the ‘Technical Support’ option in the top-right menu of your dashboard.

There are a few reasons you may not see a referral in your PartnerStack account. The main reason is that the successful referee information hasn’t yet flowed from Xero into the PartnerStack platform (this can take up to seven days). You will be notified via email when payment is ready to be redeemed. This can take up to two months following your referee's three month payment milestone. Once the information has been successfully redeemed and paid out to you, rewards show as ‘Earned’. Please see more information on PartnerStack’s Help Centre.

Please don’t be alarmed if you know your referee has been paying a customer for 3 months but it hasn’t been updated in your Program Summary page. There may be a 7-day time lag for pending rewards to show.

Cashing out on your referrer rewards

Once your referees have signed up to Xero using your unique referral link, then continued to be a paying customer of Xero for three months, you will have successfully generated a referral. Note: if your referee takes advantage of the free Xero trial, then it will be an additional month until you successfully generate a referral. In order to be paid out automatically when your referee has been a paying customer for three months, please go to your PartnerStack Dashboard and enter your bank account information for the £50 reward to be paid into. You have the option of letting your rewards accumulate or cash out right away. You will receive the full £50 for every successful referral, into the bank account information you provide via the PartnerStack dashboard and sent to Airwallex via API. Note, PartnerStack will not store any of your banking information. Please direct any questions around redeeming your payment to support@partnerstack.com.

Rewards last as long as you remain a PartnerStack account holder under Xero’s customer referral programme – meaning you can ‘cash out’ your rewards either immediately after your rewards are showing in PartnerStack or at a time of your choosing.

No, you will not be charged any fees by Xero or PartnerStack. However, if you choose to withdraw in another currency other than GBP, in which case this will be subject to any currency conversion fees imposed by your bank.

This Customer Referral Programme (Programme) is run by PartnerStack Inc. (PartnerStack). The Programme is scheduled to end on 31 March 2023, unless extended. In order to participate in the Programme, you must register and create an account with PartnerStack, and accept their Terms of Service and enter into any agreement(s) as required by PartnerStack. Eligibility requirements, reward amounts and other Programme details are set out in the FAQs. Xero is not an agent or representative of PartnerStack, and is not party to the Terms of Service you are entering into with PartnerStack. PartnerStack is not an agent or representative of Xero, and has no authority to act on behalf of, or bind Xero. PartnerStack is responsible for the operation of the Programme, rather than Xero.
