The short-term cash flow tool is available on all Xero business edition plans. It helps businesses understand where they stand with their cash position and is especially relevant as we grapple with the economic impacts of COVID-19.

What is the short-term cash flow?

The short-term cash flow offers the insights that businesses need to manage their cash flow, while giving advisors an opportunity to start deeper conversations with their clients. This accessible and interactive tool visually projects a business’s bank balance 30 days into the future, showing the impact of existing bills and invoices on cash flow.

Simply choose any bank account(s) and switch between a 7 or 30 day view of the projected bank balance. You’ll be able to see the impact of paying a bill today versus next week and know which invoices to follow up on again to help with cash flow.

Who has access to the short-term cash flow

The short-term cash flow tool is included in all Xero Starter, Standard and Premium plans to anyone with standard and advisor user roles. You can find it by going to the Business menu within your Xero account.
