Xero Appoints Maninder Sawhney as Chief Business Officer

WELLINGTON — 8 July 2026 —Xero, the global small business platform, today announced the appointment of Maninder Sawhney as Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective 3 August 2026.

Maninder will lead Xero's global go-to-market strategy and execution, bringing together sales, marketing, business development and customer experience to accelerate growth and deepen Xero's focus on its customers.

Maninder will join Xero from Adobe, where he spent more than 15 years, most recently as Senior Vice President, Go-to-Market & Sales for Adobe's Creativity & Productivity business, leading global commercial strategy across digital, phone, reseller and direct channels, serving consumer, small business, corporate and education customers.

Known for a highly analytical, data-driven approach to strategy and execution at scale, Maninder played a central role in several of Adobe's major business transformations. Before Adobe, he worked as a technology and strategy consultant, advising clients through large-scale digital and business transformations.

Maninder holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
