More about Xero Tax

To lodge standard business reporting (SBR) forms such as tax returns and activity statements on behalf of your clients, you need to create a tax agent profile in Xero Tax. Then connect the agent profile to the ATO by setting the agent up with cloud software authentication and authorisation (CAA). Your settings are safely and securely stored in the cloud within Xero Tax and can be used on any device.

We recommend speaking to your Xero account manager to understand the best method for migrating your existing client data to Xero Tax. Depending on the situation, they will suggest either doing it yourself using the ATO portal or CSV imports, a Xero-supported migration for a complete data set, or engaging one of our third-party certified implementation partners.
