Xero Asia Awards 2025: Award categories and criteria
How to enter
Each entry must be submitted in the form of a video that follows these guidelines:
- Not exceeding three (3) minutes
- Does not need to be professionally filmed or produced
- Minimum 1080P in resolution
- Must be in avi, mp4, or mov format only
- Claims mentioned in the video entry will need to be supported where possible with other attachments like reports, documentation, testimonials, etc.
Note that entries will be used by Xero for the purposes of judging the awards and displaying the entries from finalists and winners at the awards ceremony.
Award Categories
Here are the categories for this year’s Xero Asia Awards. The descriptions and criteria will help you determine the category(s) you’re eligible to apply for. Each award is based on your achievements in the 12 months from 21 June 2024 to 20 June 2025. Entries close on Friday 20 June 2025 at 23:59 SGT. Terms and conditions apply.
Xero Partner of the Year
The three awards, for Singapore, Malaysia and the rest of Asia, recognise Xero accounting partners based in Asia who’ve shown commitment to leading the way with Xero and have achieved significant success.
Xero Partner of the Year (Singapore)
For this award, your practice must be an existing Xero partner based in Singapore.
Xero Partner of the Year (Malaysia)
For this award, your practice must be an existing Xero partner based in Malaysia.
Xero Partner of the Year (Rest of Asia)
For this award, your practice must be an existing Xero partner based in any Asian country other than Singapore or Malaysia.
Other eligibility requirements
To be eligible for or the Xero Partner of the Year award, your practice must:
- have an active partner account with Xero and positive partner points
- base your entry on your achievements in the last 12 months: from 21 June 2024 to 20 June 2025
- be using Xero’s practice products
Previous winners or nominees of Xero awards are eligible to enter. You may enter multiple categories if eligible. Only one entry per company per category will be reviewed.
Emerging Partner of the Year
This award spotlights newer Xero partners who've hit the ground running. We're looking for accounting and bookkeeping practices who've made exceptional progress in their first year with Xero, showing innovation and strong client impact from day one.
Eligibility requirements
Your practice must:
- be an existing Xero partner based in Asia
- have an active partner account with Xero and positive partner points
- have joined the Xero partner program on or after 5 May 2024
- submit achievements from your time as a Xero partner
- enter this category only, not other award categories
Total Xero Award
This award is for accounting and bookkeeping practices that have made Xero part of their business DNA. They’re champions of the cause and have shown an unwavering dedication to using Xero with all suitable clients, running the firm on Xero and utilising the Xero ecosystem of apps.
Eligibility requirements
Your practice must:
- be an existing Xero partner based in Asia
- have an active partner account with Xero and positive partner points
- be a silver partner or above
- have all your small business clients on Xero (some exceptions allowed at the discretion of the judging panel)
- base your entry on your achievements in the last 12 months: from 21 June 2024 to 20 June 2025
- be using Xero’s practice products
Previous winners or nominees of Xero Awards are eligible to enter. You may enter multiple categories if eligible. Only one entry per company per category will be reviewed.
Digital Innovator of the Year
This award recognises a practice that has revolutionised their entire practice through technology. Show us how your practice has transformed its operations, culture and client services through digital innovation. We want to see practice-wide adoption of cutting-edge solutions that have measurably improved the performance of your practice.
Eligibility requirements
Your practice must:
- be an existing Xero partner based in Asia
- have an active partner account with Xero and positive partner points
- base your entry on your achievements in the last 12 months: from 21 June 2024 to 20 June 2025
- be using Xero’s practice products
Previous winners or nominees of Xero awards are eligible to enter. You may enter multiple categories if eligible. Only one entry per company per category will be reviewed.
Advisory Partner of the Year
This award recognises a Xero accounting or bookkeeping partner who has excelled in making a difference in the lives of their small business clients. This includes moving them to the cloud, offering business advice, training, community events and/or recommending and offering services supporting apps that integrate with Xero.

Your practice must:
- be an existing Xero partner based in Asia
- have an active partner account with Xero and positive partner points
- base your entry on your achievements in the last 12 months: from 21 June 2024 to 20 June 2025
- be using Xero’s practice products
Previous winners or nominees of Xero Awards are eligible to enter. You may enter multiple categories if eligible. Only one entry per company per category will be reviewed.
e-Invoicing Champion of the Year
This award celebrates Xero accounting or bookkeeping partners in Singapore or Malaysia who have championed the adoption of e-Invoicing in their respective markets and created a positive change by educating clients on the benefits of e-Invoicing. We will award one champion each for Singapore and for Malaysia.
e-Invoicing Champion of the Year (Singapore)
For this award, your practice must be an existing Xero partner based in Singapore, and be an InvoiceNow-Ready Solution Provider (IRSP) reseller registered through Xero with IMDA.
e-Invoicing Champion of the Year (Malaysia)
For this award, your practice must be an existing Xero partner based in Malaysia.

- base your entry on your achievements in the last 12 months: from 21 June 2024 to 20 June 2025
- be using Xero’s practice products
