Empower, mentor and succeed
In 2023, Xero partnered with Women in Football to create the WIF Xero Small Business Programme (formerly, The WIF Entrepreneur Mentorship Programme, powered by Xero). Through this, we support female founders to develop their business expertise, financial knowledge and professional networks.
A game of two halves
The first half builds enterprise skills and professional networks, while the second is one-to-one mentoring.

A network of like minded women supporting each other to grow and develop the business side of the game.

Xero and WIF work together on a range of initiatives to enable and empower women within the football community to grow and succeed. The WIF Xero Small Business Programme equips participants with skills, knowledge, and networks to thrive. The first half delivers a series of workshops covering financial management, business growth, and inclusive leadership. The second half offers one-to-one mentoring, matching participants with WIF members who have built their own thriving businesses.
