Rod Drury

Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director

Rod Drury is the CEO and co-founder of Xero and serves on its Board of Directors. As the visionary behind Xero he has been acknowledged by his international peers through many technology and business awards, including 2013 EY New Zealand Entrepreneur of the Year, NZ Herald Business Leader of the Year in 2012, member of the NZ Hi-Tech Hall of Fame, NZ Hi-Tech Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006 and 2007, World Class New Zealander for ICT in 2008, and Honorary Fellow of the Institute of IT Professionals NZ. Before starting Xero, Rod was involved in a number of successful startups including Context Connect, Glazier Systems and Aftermail.

Sankar Narayan

Chief Financial Officer

Sankar Narayan is the Chief Financial Officer ​and is responsible for Xero's global financial, operational and strategic functions. He has previously held several senior management roles including the CFO roles at ​Virgin Australia, ​Fairfax Media and Foxtel. Sankar has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is an FCPA (Australia). He also holds a masters degree in electrical engineering from the State University of New York.

Andy Lark

Chief Marketing and Business Officer

Andy Lark is responsible for Xero’s global go-to-market activities including sales, marketing and online strategy, education and strategic partnerships. Andy’s 25 years of executive experience includes Fortune 100 and Times 100 companies, as well as advertising and communications agencies. Before Xero, Andy was CEO of Group Lark, and Chief Marketing and Digital Officer for Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has held global executive roles with Dell, LogLogic, Sun Microsystems and Nortel in the US.

Duncan Ritchie

Chief Platform Officer

Duncan has over 15 years’ experience in IT management. He is responsible for ensuring Xero’s systems and services meet the highest standards, and manages all aspects of production operations and customer support. Before Xero, Duncan spent time as Gen-i’s Head of Application Management where he managed the lifecycle of the company’s business applications.

Tony Stewart

Chief Data Officer

Tony is responsible for maximising the value Xero gets from its data assets through data driven process automation, advanced analytics and insights, and value added customer experiences. Before Xero, Tony was CEO of Intergen, a specialised Microsoft systems integrator, which he grew from start-up to over 400 staff in 3 countries. Tony is actively involved in the technology start-up scene with companies such PartsTrader, Aptimize, CricHQ and Signal Corporation. He is an ACA and has hands on experience in Financial Management, HR, Sales & Marketing and technology leadership.

Rachael Powell

Chief People Officer

Rachael Powell is the Chief People Officer and is responsible for Xero’s human capital and talent function globally. She has previously held senior positions in talent management, strategy, business development and marketing across online and technology businesses including IBM and Zomato, whilst also spending time as an Associate Director for a boutique recruitment and search firm.

Passionate about nurturing talent, Rachael believes in strength-based leadership and positive engagement programs to effectively mobilise the business strategy. She has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor in Business (Accounting and Marketing) and is currently completing a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology.

Anna Curzon

Managing Director, NZ

As Managing Director for New Zealand, Anna is a key member of the global sales leadership team, responsible for driving relationships with government, financial institutions, enterprise and promoting the small business economy. Prior to Xero Anna led Internet Banking at ASB and Digital First at Spark and brings deep experience of online, financial services and operations to Xero.

Trent Innes

Managing Director, AU

Trent Innes has more than 17 years of experience growing and managing major businesses in the accounting and IT industries. Initially joining Xero as National Sales Director, Trent was appointed as Managing Director in 2016 to manage the company’s next phase of growth. Prior to Xero, Trent managed the Microsoft Business Group in Australia and began his career as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).

Gary Turner

Managing Director, UK

Gary is a 20-year veteran of the UK’s accounting software industry who joined Xero from Microsoft where he was Product Group Director for Microsoft Dynamics. He has sat on the IT Faculty Technical Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales since 2005.

Russell Fujioka

President, Americas

Russ has over 25 years’ experience providing strategic and operational leadership to cloud, Software as a Service, and technology providers with a focus on sales, marketing and operational management of high growth businesses. Russ was previously Global Vice President of Marketing at Dell and he has held senior executive roles at Bessemer Venture Partners, J. Walter Thompson, and Adobe Systems.
