Further improving accounts production such as more flexible formatting, customisation, and supporting additional types of accounting reports. Also we are planning to add partnership tax, so you can allocate profits to partners having analysed the P&L and balance sheet directly from Xero to complete the partnership tax return.
For company accounts and corporate tax, there must be a Xero subscription in place in order to use the product. Any Xero subscription works with Xero Tax, and your clients don’t have to be using the subscription.
For personal tax, unlike company accounts and corporate tax, partners aren’t required to connect to a Xero subscription in order to use and input data to complete and submit a client’s tax return. However, as business related data can be automatically populated for sole traders (with partnerships and rental properties to follow) using the accounts production integration, we recommend you use a subscription. But it is not compulsory should you wish to manually enter the data on the tax form instead.
Yes. You can collate reports and tax returns into document packs to share securely with clients for digital signatures, from within Xero Tax. Clients can access a portal to complete e-signatures, for a seamless workflow.See more about document packs
