We’re excited to announce new features customized for you. From billing in CAD to provincial returns, we’re announcing a series of Canada specific features that will be released throughout this calendar year. We’re proud to continue to work with amazing partners and small businesses in Canada.
Generate provincial sales tax return reports in Xero, enabling you to automatically calculate sales for specific filing periods, drill down into box-by-box or line-by-line transactions, and track prior period adjustments. The reports can be accessed within your client’s Reports Summary screen in Canada Xero Cashbook and Business plans.
See our resource page for details.
Are you an accountant or bookkeeper with clients using Sage50 or Quickbooks Desktop? Now you can convert those files to Xero Standard or Premium plan organizations using our Canada conversion partner, Movemybooks.
During the pilot, Xero covers the conversion cost of Movemybooks’ Convert 24 service that includes up to 24 months of current and prior year transaction history. Standard conversions complete in approximately 2-3 business days.
Xero pricing plans in Canadian dollars are now available. This means that new Canada Xero subscriptions can only be purchased under the new pricing plans in CAD. Also, existing Canada Xero subscriptions purchased prior to November 9, 2020 will need to be moved to the new pricing plans in CAD.
See our pricing updates page for details.
New chart of accounts templates are now available in Xero HQ, fast-tracking the client onboarding process with the ability to select a template of predefined chart of accounts when creating a new client organization. Each template relates to common Canadian business entity types and comes pre-mapped to Xero’s report codes.
