On the evening of 3 March 2021, accounting practices and app partners across the UK, Ireland and South Africa were honoured at the annual Xero awards. Hosted online, the awards celebrated excellence and the achievements of our industry through one of the toughest years we’ve seen.

Sole Practitioner of the Year
CBA demonstrated a proactive approach to supporting clients, tackling the challenges of the past 12 months and preparing for future changes, the judges were impressed with how forward thinking they are.
Small Firm of the Year
In what has been a difficult year for everyone, Cloud 360 has doubled-down on its already impressive customer service and their human touch struck a chord with the judges.
Mid-sized Firm of the Year
An incredible level of digitalization and a willingness to go the extra mile for their clients at every stage of the journey made Fusion Accountants a clear winner in this category for all the judges.
Large Firm of The Year
Finalists in the 2020 Xero Awards, UHY Manchester have taken the win this year, as they stood out for being an agile business that quickly found new ways to engage with clients when it was needed most.
A finalist in this category last year, Linford Grey clinched the top spot by demonstrating outstanding vision and ambition. The judges were impressed with how the firm embraces new technology.
Xero Partner of the Year: Ireland
A clear passion for educating others on the benefits of cloud technology and investment in their training schedule helped Accountant Online stand out to the judges.
Emerging Firm of the Year: Ireland
Already a company with technology at its core, Lalor O’Shea McQuillan took notable steps this past year to further its commitment to digital by appointing a dedicated digital champion to raise awareness of Xero.
Xero Partner of the Year: South Africa
Winners of the 2020 Emerging Firm, DoughGetters have made incredible strides to take home this title just twelve months later, as they continue to build on the qualities that impressed the judges last year.

Zero 123 has quickly established itself at the forefront of digital finance in South Africa. The company continually invests time and resources on understanding clients’ short and long term goals to tailor their services.
Most Valued Professional
Stuart is a champion for modern accounting practices. He fully embraces cloud accounting and uses social media to spread the word in a humorous way. His generosity to share knowledge, wisdom and advice with his peers and small businesses is exceptional.

Community Impact Award
This new award honours a Xero partner who has gone to great lengths to help an individual, a group or community in need; making a difference to people's lives. Xero’s chosen charity, the Samaritans were the guest judge to select the winner.

People’s Choice Award
This new award gave clients the opportunity to recognise their Xero accountant. CDC Accounting received the most votes from their clients.

This award recognises an app that has achieved great things in a short amount of time. Since joining the Xero app marketplace in April 2020, Reducer have helped accountants find over £1million in savings for 1500 clients.
Industry Specific App of the Year: UK
When Covid-19 hit, Figured provided a support package that included free license upgrades and training sessions on using future planning tools to help their clients steer their businesses through the pandemic.
