Xero (UK) Limited – Competition Terms and Conditions

TaxAssist Conference 5th & 6th May. Golf tees in a jar terms and conditions.

  1. This competition (Golf tees in a jar) is made on behalf of Xero (UK) Limited (company number 06071722), with its registered office at 5th Floor, 100 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 1FH , England (Xero).
  2. Entry guide: Entrants must complete the form with their guess as to how many tees are in the jar and include their contact details (including your name, email address and phone number).
  3. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition. You can submit multiple entries into the Prize Draw per person, during the TaxAssist conference on 5th May. No entries will be accepted after 5pm on 5th May.
  4. By entering the competition, you agree to these terms and conditions and Xero’s privacy notice.
  5. How the prize will be awarded: First prize, the person who guesses the closest number of golf tees correctly, will win a £300 holiday voucher (supplied by TraveCard). Second prize, the person who guesses second closest will win a golf putter. Third prize, the person who guesses third closest will win a a £50 voucher for a hamper (supplied by Hugg). ). If we have multiple entrants who guess correctly, then those users will be entered into a random prize draw. Any person(s) in the pool for such a draw, but who is not selected as the winner will automatically be eligible for the next prize category (if applicable). Any decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winning entrant will be contacted by email and confirm acceptance of winning the competition within 10 days of Xero contacting you.
  6. If you’re the winner, Xero will contact you by email within 5 days of the draw to notify the winner that they have won. Xero will then contact you with the specific details of the prize as soon as possible. If you don’t confirm your acceptance of winning the competition within 10 days of Xero contacting you, you will forfeit your prize and Xero may allocate the prize to another eligible entry (also to be drawn at random).
  7. Xero may be required to publish or make available details of the draw, including the surnames and counties of the winners. You can object to your details being published or made available, or reduce the amount of information published or made available, by emailing privacy@xero.com - note Xero may still be required to provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority.
  8. By entering the Prize Draw, you consent to Xero using your name, business and photographs for any publicity associated with the Prize Draw without further payment or other compensation to you.
  9. Xero’s decisions on all matters relating to the Prize Draw (including eligibility of entries, location and date of the game, and the operation of the prize draw) will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Other than liability that Xero can’t exclude or limit by law, Xero has no liability to you (including liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage) in connection with the Prize Draw.
  11. The Prize Draw is governed by the laws of England and the courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes relating to the Prize Draw.
