Be part of something. The Xero Grad Programme

What you need to know

Keen to join us? If you want to apply, this is the place to be. Make sure you understand the application process and important dates, then apply for the position you want.

Before you apply

  • Make sure you’ve got your CV, cover letter, and a copy of your academic transcript (we know it won’t be complete until
the end of the year – so just send us everything so far).
  • If you’re not a citizen or permanent resident, you’ll need a copy
of your passport showing your visa.
  • Add links to your online portfolio, website, or Github/ Stack
Overflow/ Behance pages, or anything else you want to show us.

Important dates

  • Monday 13 March – Applications open, then we hire people throughout the year. The earlier you get your application in, the more roles are available to you.

  • Friday 19 May – Applications close for the first set of grad day assessments.

  • Friday 4 August – Applications close for the second set of grad day assessments.

Grad day assessments

With the Xero grad program, most applicants won’t have normal interviews. Instead, we invite applicants to our offices for an assessment called grad day. It’s a lot more comprehensive – and a lot more fun! – than regular interviews. Our product design and creative hub teams, which have far fewer roles available, use a standard interview process.
