Upcoming Xero price changes

From 23 September 2021, the price of Xero business edition plans will increase in Australia (with the exception of Starter and Payroll Only plans). 

From 16 March 2022, the cost of Xero Cashbook plans will also increase (except for Ledger which will remain the same). 

As a growing cloud company, it's important that we continue to invest in our products for you and all our customers who rely on Xero to run their business and access key financial information every day. This price change will help us continue to make a better Xero experience for you, now and into the future.

Details about the Australian price change

Plans that are changing

  • The details of this price change relate to subscribers on Xero Cashbook, Standard and Premium plans in Australia only.

  • Only the price of Cashbook, Standard and Premium plans is changing. There’s no price change for any optional extras you have as part of your subscription, or for Starter, Ledger or Payroll Only plans.

  • From 23 September 2021, the revised price of Xero Standard and Premium plans will come into effect

  • From 16 March 2022, the revised price of Xero Cashbook plans will come into effect. 
  • To find out what pricing plan a client is on, head to Subscription in their Xero account and check the ‘Subscription’ column.

Discounts and promo codes will continue to be honoured

If you or your clients have a current Xero discount or promo code, it will continue to be applied to the new pricing from 23 September 2021, until the discount or code expires.

The price changes take effect from 23 September 2021

The price changes take effect for new and existing Australian Standard and Premium plans from 23 September 2021 and will show on invoices from this date onwards.
