As a graduate product insights analyst, you'll get to provide top-notch data analysis and insights to help us make fast decisions and create smart strategies.

The role

Our product insights and analytics team focuses on delivering data-driven insights that inform more thoughtful data-driven decisions and ways of working across Xero’s product teams.

As a key member of the product insights and analytics team, you'll focus on delivering data-driven insights to support thoughtful decisions and new ways of working for our product teams. You’ll work alongside experienced analysts in a supportive environment and take on challenging problems to grow your analytics career.

Our graduate product insights analysts:

  • support product teams with effective decisions
  • identify key trends and correlations in data
  • communicate insights through presentations, reports, and dashboards
  • produce reliable code and demonstrate best-practice techniques

What we’d like to see from you

Ideally you’ll have:

  • solid skills in SQL and one or more scripting languages
  • a foundation in statistical knowledge
  • the aptitude to learn new skills and technologies
  • effective communication and teamwork skills

Applicants for the grad program must have fewer than 12 months professional working experience in relevant industries, either have the right to work full-time in New Zealand or will be eligible to work full-time after graduating, and be able to start full-time in February 2025. You will also need to send your CV but only so we can use it to verify your eligibility. If you’re applying for an internship, you must be in your penultimate year of study in your chosen field and be available for full-time work from November 2024 through to February 2025.
