Xero announces new Chief Business Operations and Strategy Officer

Damien Tampling, Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer to depart Xero

Wellington – 8 December 2022 - Xero Limited today announces that Angad Soin, Xero’s EGM, Business Operations, has been promoted to a new Chief Business Operations and Strategy Officer role, effective 1 February 2023.

As part of Xero’s executive team, Soin will be responsible for leading the cross business processes that shape the development and execution of Xero’s global strategy and drive operational excellence. Soin joined Xero in early 2021 and prior to that worked at Deloitte for 13 years in various roles, most recently, Partner, National Lead in the Strategy & Transformation Office.

Soin, previously reported to Damien Tampling, Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer, who has decided to leave Xero after almost four years.

Tampling’s final day will be 15 March 2023.
