Xero Awards Ireland 2025: How to enter
Here’s what you need to know to submit your entry for the Xero Awards. Entries are open until 10 February 2025.
Following are the categories open for entry in this year’s Xero Awards for the Republic of Ireland. Under each award name, you’ll find full entry criteria, the questions you need to answer, and a link to submit your entry. Feel free to use this information to draft your nomination with your team before submitting your entry. Entries close at 23:55 (IST) on 10 February 2025. Rules apply.

Partner of the Year
This award celebrates accounting and bookkeeping practices making an impact across the Republic of Ireland. We're looking for partners who transform their clients' businesses through smart use of Xero and cloud technology. Show us how you've built strong client relationships, embraced the Xero ecosystem, and championed digital innovation in accounting.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be an accounting or bookkeeping practice based in the Republic of Ireland
- Have been a Xero partner since December 2023 or earlier
- Submit achievements from January 2024 - December 2024
- Submit your own nomination as a practice

What we're looking for:
Assessment is based on the period January 2024 - December 2024. These are the criteria we’ll use when assessing nominations:
- Business Vision
- Xero Product Implementation
- Ecosystem Adoption
- Knowledge Development
- Innovation Impact
Questions you'll need to answer when submitting your nomination:
Business Vision (max 300 words) What drives your partner's purpose and shapes its future?
Hint: Share your vision and how it influences your operations, client relationships and digital strategy.
Xero Product Implementation (max 300 words) How do you maximise Xero's suite of products to transform your practice?
Hint: Include your use of Xero Tax, Practice Manager, Workpapers, HQ, Projects, Expenses, HubDoc, Analytics, and online invoicing solutions.
Ecosystem Adoption (max 300 words) How have you integrated Xero's app ecosystem to enhance your practice and client service?
Hint: Share your approach to selecting, implementing and using apps for both internal efficiency and client success.
Knowledge Development (max 300 words) How do you build and share Xero expertise?
Hint: Include your approach to certifications, team training, event participation and client education.
Innovation Impact (max 300 words) What measurable results has your innovation delivered?
Hint: Share specific outcomes for your practice and clients.
Emerging Practice of the Year
This award spotlights newer Xero partners who've hit the ground running. We're looking for accounting and bookkeeping practices who've made exceptional progress in their first year with Xero, showing innovation and strong client impact from day one.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be an accounting or bookkeeping practice based in the Republic of Ireland
- Have joined the Xero partner program on or after January 1, 2024
- Submit achievements from your time as a Xero partner
- Enter this category only, not other award categories

What we're looking for:
Assessment is based on achievements since becoming a Xero partner (must have joined on or after January 1, 2024). These are the criteria we'll use when assessing nominations:

This award recognises practices that have revolutionised their entire practice through technology. Show us how your practice has transformed its operations, culture and client services through digital innovation. We want to see practice-wide adoption of cutting-edge solutions that have measurably improved your partner's performance.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be an accounting or bookkeeping practice based in the Republic of Ireland
- Have been a Xero partner since January 2024
- Submit practice-wide achievements from January 2024 - December 2024

This award celebrates Xero partners who make a difference beyond the balance sheet. While delivering excellent accounting services, these partners also create positive change in their communities. We're looking for partners who've tackled meaningful challenges - whether social, economic, environmental or cultural. Share your story of community impact, and show us how you're making Ireland better.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be an accounting or bookkeeping practice based in the Republic of Ireland
- Be a current Xero partner
- Submit project results from January to December 2024, for either completed or ongoing initiatives
Note: Open to practices of all sizes and partner status levels.

This award recognises outstanding individuals who champion cloud adoption within their practice. We're looking for team members who drive digital transformation from within, showing initiative, enthusiasm and results. Whether you're helping colleagues embrace new technology or leading innovative client solutions, show us how you're making a difference in your partner's cloud journey.
Eligibility requirements:
- Nominees must work for an accounting or bookkeeping practice based in the Republic of Ireland
- The practice must be a current Xero partner
- Nominees cannot be practice owners or managing partners
- Submit achievements from January 2024 - December 2024
- Nominations can come from colleagues or practice leaders

Xero Most Valued Professional
Our highest honour and most prestigious award recognises an individual who is a Xero advocate through and through. This award is not open for partner applications and the winner will be chosen by the Xero judging panel.
This award is selected and voted internally (by Xero).
Eligibility requirements
- Must be a Xero partner.
- Your practice must be based in the Republic of Ireland.
- Previous winners or nominees are eligible.
