The Next Dimension company was formed in 2021 during the Greater Sydney lockdown, but its skillset has been more than two decades in the making.
Founder Brendan Lucas started his learning curve growing up on the NSW South Coast gaining an understanding of SMEs and NFPs from his Dad, a small business oyster farm operator, and his mother, a long-term employee of the local NFP golf club. Early on it was quite clear that, in any job, learning to count to a dozen was useful and while working in different jobs he became more aware of the value of bookkeeping and accounting skills. Brendan worked for PwC for nine years. Starting as a trainee, he worked his way up to Manager. He then honed his business ownership and management skills, spending five years co-managing an accounting business partnership in Sydney.
Next Dimension Accounting advisors: 16 - Xero certifications: 20
To become certified, advisors complete learning modules on Xero’s key features and pass a practical exam.
