About us

Nexo was founded in 2015. Our mission is to deliver timely and accurate information to our clients. This is accomplished by utilizing the latest accounting software and cloud technology. Cloud technology allows our clients to make informed business decisions on information that is always up to date. Nexo is owned by Kobie Van Zyl and Gawie Van Zyl. Kobie articled at PWC and The CORE Group and was also appointed as a manager at CORE Cloud Accounting until founding Nexo Accounting. Gawie Snr is a member of SAIPA and has more than 25 years of corporate experience in the field of accounting and business management.

Gawie Jr was appointed as director at Nexo 1 April 2019, Gawie Jr did his SAICA articles at PKF Rademeyer Wesson, and is a qualified CA(SA).

Clients of Nexo Group connect to a range of banks via Xero. Nexo Group specialises in working with some of those banks; they can help with setting up bank feeds, and are knowledgeable about accessing bank loans and streamlining payments through Xero.
