Practice Manager allows you to store documents against clients, jobs, quotes and suppliers. You can integrate with an external Document Management system, for example Dropbox, to take advantage of an array of features such as document sharing, version control, comments, and collaboration with your clients and your team members.

- Practice Manager allows you to store documents in the application, but it is a very simple and lean option. Integrating to a DMS allows you many more features to manage your client files and folders. If you don’t have an existing provider, you can create a new account with the platform of your choice.
- When you upload a file in Practice Manager, it will store that same file in the DMS you have connected to, and vice versa.
- Practice Manager can only sync with one parent folder in your chosen DMS. All client folders and subfolders will reside under this one parent folder.
- You can add documents against clients, suppliers, jobs and quotes. The integration will create a logical folder structure for each client in the DMS.

- Share the parent folder with all your staff members, so they can all view and upload files.

- If you don't have a provider yet, then access the various websites to review them. Once you have selected your preferred provider, create an account. Then enable the integration and link to the parent folder.
