Xero and Digicape “Win an iPad” Competition Terms and Conditions
This promotional competition ("Competition") is sponsored and conducted by Xero (UK) Limited ("Xero"). By entering the Competition and/or accepting prizes, all entrants and/or winners agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as updated or amended from time to time by Xero.
The Competition is open to legal residents of the Republic of South Africa only, where not prohibited by law from entering.
This Competition is not open to (a) a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant of any company in the Xero group of companies or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Xero; (b) a supplier of goods or services in connection with this Competition; and (c) the spouses, life partners, or immediate family members of the parties referred to in (a) and (b).
How to Enter
- In order to enter this Competition, entrants must subscribe for a Xero Business Edition subscription using the Competition promo code between 6 September 2016 and 30 September 2016.
- If you subscribe for a Xero Business Edition subscription using the Competition promo code, but do not wish to enter the prize draw, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to opt out.
There are five (5) prizes of an iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB.
Five (5) winners will be selected via a random draw of eligible entries. Each entrant is eligible to win one prize only.
The draw will take place on 14 October 2016 at Xero (UK) Limited (Bank House, 171 Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 1EB, United Kingdom)
If for any unforeseen reason the draw cannot take place on that date, then Xero will endeavor to conduct the draw within a reasonable period thereafter and shall provide details of the new draw date on Xero's website.
The draw will be conducted by a Xero representative and will be overseen by an independent third party.
The winners will be contacted by Xero within 21 days of the draw taking place. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners. Should the organisers be unable to contact the winner using reasonable efforts (by phone and/or email), Xero reserves the right to award the prize to another eligible entrant on the same terms and conditions.
All prize winners may be requested to have their name, city/region and/or photo published on any marketing material, as well as any statements made, but the entrant/winner may decline such invitation.
In an event of a dispute, the decision of Xero is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
If you are entering this Competition, and agreeing to these terms and conditions, on behalf of your company then you confirm and agree that you are fully authorised to do so.
By entering this Competition the entrants and the eventual winners, indemnify, release and hold harmless Xero, its employees, directors and/or officers from and against any actions, claims liability for injury, loss and/or damage of any kind resulting from the Competition and/or the prizes.
Prizes are non-transferrable to any third party and cannot be exchanged and/or converted into cash or other goods.
Xero is not responsible if the Competition cannot take place in the event of force majeure (Acts of God) and no claim can be instituted by any entrant should such an eventuality occur.
If an advertised prize is not available or in the event of force majeure (Acts of God), or unavoidable delay due to conditions beyond the control of Xero, the organisers reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
Entrants who do not comply with these official rules, or attempt to interfere with this Competition in any way, shall be disqualified.
If any entry has been made in any manner which in Xero's sole discretion may provide an entrant with an unfair advantage over other entrants, unless these rules specifically allow such conduct, such entrant will be automatically disqualified from this and all future competitions run by Xero.
These terms and conditions are governed by South African law.
