About Adam

A Consumer Psychologist and Chief Strategy Officer at advertising agency cummins&partners, Adam has degrees in Commerce and Psychology and by a strange twist of fate began his career in forensic psychology. He worked in maximum-security prisons and private practice before making the move to marketing, where he switched from understanding criminal behaviour to consumer behaviour.

About Alex

Alex Malley is responsible for 19 offices globally and more than 150,000 CPA Australia members in 121 countries. He hosts the Nine Network television program The Bottom Line, writes a regular blog for The Huffington Post, fronts the online community The Naked CEO and is a regular business commentator on 2GB's The Money News and Sky News Business. In 2014 Alex was invited to join the likes of Barack Obama, Bill Gates and Richard Branson as an Influencer on LinkedIn. Alex's first book, The Naked CEO: from suspended schoolboy to disruptive CEO will be published globally by Wiley in November.

About Louise

Working with Rackspace’s largest and most complex cloud customers, Louise helps companies transition to the cloud and makes sure they take full advantages of hybrid cloud computing. With a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Computer Science and Technology from the University of Sydney, Louise started her career as a network engineer in North Carolina, USA, and has since held a mix of roles covering data centre, mobility and cloud in the UK, USA and in Shanghai.

Laura is responsible for Xero product development in Australia. A recent addition to the Xero family, she has a wealth of experience in managing and leading development teams in the online space. Prior to becoming a Xeroe, Laura managed consumer-facing products for well-known Australian web portal carsales.com.au and is passionate about fostering innovative work cultures, developing people and delivering beautiful user experiences.

About Michael

Michael ‘MC’ Carter is the founder and director of Practice Paradox™, a publishing, training and consulting organisation that teaches accounting firms the marketing psychology, skills and systems required to grow and prosper. With a degree in Industrial Design and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Management, Michael has a unique combination of right brain creative skills and left brain analytical skills, making him a presenter who entertains, inspires and informs.

Tim is Director and Founder of both ChangeGPS and Change Accountants and Advisors and is passionate about bringing positive change to the accounting industry. Change was born out of a highly successful firm Tim co-founded in 1990, which earned a place among BRW’s Top 100 Accounting Firms in Australia list from 2008 to 2010. Matt Barrie is an award-winning entrepreneur, technologist and lecturer. In 2011, he was named inaugural BRW Entrepreneur of the Year. He was also the winner of the technology category in the National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards for 2011. Matt is a prolific speaker and has spoken at, or featured in; the Summit Series, the New York Times, Bloomberg TV, The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, The Atlantic, Switzer, BRW and The Economist. Matt is behind Xero’s innovation in the banking space and runs the integration team responsible for the delivery of Xero functionality and features that cross over into the world of banking and payments. Previously, Matt has worked as a Business Analyst, Senior Developer and Account Manager.

Dr Jason Fox is a motivation strategy & design expert who shows forward thinking leaders how to influence work culture, drive progress and build for the future of work. Jason is the author of The Game Changer – a new book that shows how to use motivation science to influence behaviour and drive change at work. About Jakub

A technologist with very varied professional experience, Jakub has a degree in computer science, started out as a HPUX engineer, and over the course of time, found himself working on two feature films – including the first of the Hobbit trilogy – before gradually finding his home in the world of cloud computing. He has also worked with the Open Group on translating parts of the TOGAF 9 Framework and is passionate about complex problems around scaling, large quantities of data and making utility computing a reality. Jakub has worked with companies in Australia, New Zealand and Europe and currently heads up Rackspace’s cloud architecture team in Australia.

About Matt

Matt has over 20 years experience in the public sector with a focus on service delivery and business improvement. He established his career at the NSW Office of State Revenue, where he worked across the tax and fines divisions. A strategic thinker with a passion for business improvement, Matt was part of the Revenue Online project that introduced online payroll tax and services for stamp duties. In 2009, Matt joined the ATO and initially was responsible for strategy and planning in the ATO contact centres. In 2012, Matt established the Strategic Program team to drive delivery of key service improvement initiatives. Throughout his tenure with the ATO Matt has built a reputation for championing innovation and driving contemporary service delivery solutions.

Matt is a member of the ATO Executive Working Group tasked with transformation of the ATO (Reinventing the ATO) and was recently appointed to the OECD Taxpayer Services Sub-Group on the Forum on Tax Administration.
