Xero is online accounting software that gives small businesses and their advisors real time access to accounting information, anytime, from anywhere.
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead our growth in Australia and you will play an important role in the continued growth and success of Xero.
As part of the Brisbane sales team, you will be responsible for growing, developing and managing Xero’s relationships with accountants Xero works with. This includes signing more of their clients onto Xero, helping them develop their online strategy and delivering events within dedicated regions to recruit, educate and grow the Xero Partner channel.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience in the sales and implementation of software solutions into the professional services sector, ideally accountants in practice.
- Outstanding communication and ability to present and demonstrate to large audiences.
- The ability to wow customers with mind-blowing demos and webinars.
- Passion for the internet and online emerging technologies.
- Keen attention to detail and follow-up—you care about customer success.
- Enthusiasm for building strong relationships.
- Experience selling to accounting practices is a distinct advantage.
- Working knowledge of accounting software.
- Ideally, an accounting qualification or basic understanding of accounting.
- Loads of initiative.
- Experience working with Xero (preferred).
