Return to work with flexible furlough: The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme now helps employers manage their employees return to work part-time whilst ensuring employees continue to receive the same level of financial support. Flexible furlough enables employees to receive full pay for actual hours worked, plus 80% wage subsidy for the balance of their usual working hours.
Changes to statutory sick pay: We’ve added 'COVID-19 self isolation' as a sick leave option for employees who are required to self-isolate, so they can earn sick pay from day one instead of the usual four consecutive days.

When you enable automatic enrolment in Xero, eligible employees are enrolled in your workplace pension, and contributions are deducted from their pay. Xero sends data directly to Nest or The People’s Pension, or lets you submit a file to another provider.
Employee leave balances are automatically adjusted when a leave request is submitted and approved. Xero payroll comes with all the standard types of leave set up – plus you can set up rostered days off and time in lieu.
