Introducing your host

Sue will bring her unique brand of wit and humour back to Xerocon 2024. An accomplished presenter, writer, actor, director and comedian, Sue is well known for her work on the popular Light Lunch in 1997 and more recently, co-host of the popular Great British Bake Off and contestant on Taskmaster UK.

Diya Jolly is Xero’s new Chief Product Officer. She has a passion for small business and brings with her more than 20 years’ global experience designing, developing and launching consumer and business products. Diya was previously Chief Product Officer at Okta and has worked for a range of high-growth companies, startups and Fortune 500 brands, including Microsoft and Google. She now leads Xero’s product teams, including product management, development and design, to realise Xero’s small business platform vision.

Prior to Xero, Alex led the European operations for small business payments technology company SumUp, and before that held senior leadership positions at Electrocomponents plc and eBay, where he gained exposure to a large constituency of merchant sellers.

Alex is responsible for leading Xero’s operations across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
