We’re celebrating APAC's 2018 Xero heroes. Here’s where you can nominate your firm (or your favourite Xero Partner or app) for an award.

Accounting / Bookkeeping Partner of the Year (AU)

This award recognises the Xero accounting partner who used Xero to offer the best value added service/s to their clients from 1 July 2017 onwards.

Criteria
  1. Certification - demonstrated commitment to increasing percentage of total staff that are Xero Certified.
  2. Practice tools - evidence of use of Xero HQ, Practice Manager, Workpapers and Tax to provide value for your clients.
  3. Marketing strategy - commitment to raising awareness of the benefits of Xero (optimised website, social strategy, publications, speaking engagements, hosting events, etc).
  4. Innovation - evidence of innovation in client services to improve business performance and how this service sets you apart from your competitors.
  5. App solutions - evidence of use of apps to boost productivity and provide client solutions

Accounting / Bookkeeping Partner of the Year (NZ)

This award recognises the Xero accounting partner who used Xero to offer the best value added service/s to their clients from 1 July 2017 onwards.

Criteria

Partner of the Year (Asia)

National Partner of the Year (AU/NZ)

This award goes to a partner with a national presence, or made up of independent accounting firms nationwide, which has added significant value to clients across Australia and championed the use of Xero and cloud technology from 1 July 2017 onwards.

Criteria
  1. National presence - evidence of how you are a national partner.
  2. Goal-orientated services - evidence of how your services have fundamentally helped clients to achieve their business goals.
  3. Firm growth - evidence of your growth in terms of new Xero clients.
  4. Xero certification - evidence that your staff are Xero certified.
  5. Cloud advocacy - demonstrated commitment to raising awareness of the benefits of Xero and the cloud in the small business community.
  6. Xero HQ use - evidence of use of Xero HQ and at least one of the practice tools to provide value for clients.

Regional Partner of the Year (Asia)

This is awarded to a firm that has a regional presence or a regional association of independent accounting firms. This firm demonstrates how it has added significant value to its clients in multiple countries across the Asia region and champions Xero and the use of cloud technology from 1 July 2017 onwards.

Criteria
  1. Regional presence - evidence of how you are a regional partner. 
  2. Goal-orientated services - evidence of how your services have fundamentally helped clients to achieve their business goals.
  3. Firm growth - evidence of your growth in terms of new Xero clients.
  4. Xero certification - evidence that your staff are Xero certified.
  5. Cloud advocacy - demonstrated commitment to raising awareness of the benefits of Xero and the cloud in the small business community.

100% Cloud Award

The 100% Cloud Award is to celebrate partners operating 100% within the Cloud.

Criteria
  1. Bronze partner and above.
  2. Must run the practice 100% on Xero HQ, Practice Manager, Workpapers, Tax (if applicable).
  3. Evidence that the partner uses the Xero ecosystem to deliver value to customers.
  4. Demonstrate how the partner cut costs and boosts productivity by integrating systems.
  5. Examples of apps used and how.

App Partner of the Year

The winning app partner will have demonstrated a high-level of customer satisfaction and commercial success. We’ll also look for continuous improvement in areas like customer care, design, quality, functionality and technical innovation.

Criteria
  1. Be commercially available (no Beta versions).
  2. Have variable users on both Xero and own product (organisations connected).
  3. Be over one year old (as at 31 December 2017).
  4. Technical: design, quality and ongoing improvement of integration to the API and Xero products.
  5. Demonstrate ease of doing business, customer feedback, customer advocacy.
  6. Evidence of connections with Xero’s accounting and bookkeeping communities.
  7. Evidence of customers using the product successfully to improve their operations and demonstrating that they would recommend the product to others.

Emerging App Partner of the Year

Presented to the emerging app partner who demonstrates a high-level of customer satisfaction and commercial success. We will look for excellence in areas such as customer care, design quality, functionality and technical innovation.

 

Qualifying criteria: Integrated with the Xero API in 2017 (between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017).

Criteria
  1. Be commercially available (no Beta versions).
  2. Have variable users on both Xero and own product (organisations connected).
  3. Evidence of technical excellence, both in own product and in integration with the Xero API.
  4. Business excellence: easy to work with, great customer feedback, customer advocacy.
  5. Demonstrated interaction with Xero’s accounting and bookkeeping channel.

Industry Specific App of the Year

The winning app partner will have addressed the needs of a distinct industry and demonstrated a high level of customer satisfaction and commercial success. We’ll also look for continuous improvement in areas like customer care, design, quality, functionality and technical innovation.

Criteria
  1. Proven to have substantially benefitted customer/member organisations by introducing new ways of working.
  2. Demonstrated high level of customer satisfaction and commercial success.
  3. Example of a service offering or campaign that has added significant value to customers in a distinct industry
  4. Demonstrate another aspect (customer care, etc) of the organisation that adds clear value to customers/ members.
