Mid-sized Firm of the Year
An incredible level of digitalization and a willingness to go the extra mile for their clients at every stage of the journey made Fusion a clear winner in this category for all the judges.
Penny Power, founder of Business is Personal, was impressed with how they welcomed new clients. “I absolutely loved the technique and diligence of the onboarding process,” she said. Once onboard, there is a focus on identifying how technology can best support each client, including singling out which third party apps will benefit their business. “I also loved the focus on tailor made workflows for their clients’ requirements,” said Glen Foster, Xero Sales Director (UK & EMEA). “They aren’t trying to bend clients to fit their workflow, they are adapting to the changing face of small businesses and that feels really good.”
Over the past year their client centric approach was demonstrated through regular email updates, free workshops on government support schemes and discounts to clients heavily impacted by the pandemic. “It shows that they're willing to play the long term game for client retention and satisfaction,” says John Coldicutt, Xero Marketing Director (UK & EMEA).
Fusion grew it’s Xero client base by over 100% in 12 months and educated the wider community on Xero accounting with detailed how-to guides, promoted through Facebook ads. “They’re clearly very cutting edge in the way they go to market, which is impressive,” said Power.
