TidyWork + Xero
TidyWork takes care of your project, job or production workflow cost and income detail sending the financial information seamlessly from TidyWork across to Xero through Tidy's simple mapping functionality. Manage staff time and payroll information, expenses, machine/asset usage, subcontractors, works orders, margins, purchase orders and the receipt of materials and their ongoing control in Tidy. Tidy provides your business the operational “heavy lifting” then sends to Xero what it needs to deal with the financial accounting.
The CloudPayroll interface with Xero is really easy to set up.
1. In CloudPayroll go to the 'Setup' menu then 'Interfaces' and connect CloudPayroll to Xero.
2. You then add all the payroll chart of account codes from Xero to CloudPayroll under 'Costing/GL, when adding these you can also add tracking categories. (you can also upload all of these via spreadsheet upload on this screen)
3. You then attach a Cost Centre to each persons 'Personal Details' under the 'People' menu, 'View People'. If you need to split the cost over several Cost Centre's, you do this on the 'Timesheet Template'.
