Expensify + Xero
Once the integration is enabled, Expensify allows admins to choose which Xero organization(s) they'd like to attach to Expensify. Expensify can then import any chart of accounts, tax information, and tracking categories necessary for expense categorization.
How do you sync it with Xero?
Creating a Xero connection with any Expensify policy can be done in just a few clicks.
- In Expensify, head to the Connections tab.
- Select Connect to Xero, and enter your Xero login credentials.
- Select your Xero organization and your connection is ready to go.
Expensify + Xero HQ
The combination of Xero HQ and Expensify automates the back-end work for accountants and bookkeepers, allowing more time to provide superior client services. Outstanding tasks, such as expense reports awaiting approval, will appear in the Xero HQ dashboard and can be resolved in just one click.
How do you sync it with Xero HQ?
To connect Expensify to Xero HQ:
1. In Expensify, navigate to Account Settings > Connections.
2. Select Connect to Xero HQ.
3. Log in to Xero HQ, select your practice, then click Allow Access.
How much does it cost?
Expensify costs $5 a month per active user, or $9 a month per active user if you need corporate card functionality.
An active user defined as someone that has created, submitted, approved, or exported a report. After a user is deemed active for the month, they have unlimited access for the same price.

Expensify offers a 30-day free trial for all new users.
