Herman holds multiple patents for identity and distributed computing. Jina is a Principal Consultant with EtiennePartners, a boutique consulting firm in Silver Spring, MD. More recently, she was President & CEO of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. She earned a Master’s in Adult Education, again from Oklahoma State, and has taught at the post-secondary level. She then turned to training in the accounting software industry. Today, she loves helping people learn more about her favorite accounting software by creating and presenting Xero’s educational content.
Carlos is the founder and President of Lopez Tax Service and founder of the Latino Tax Professionals Association. He has been active in tax preparation and representation before the IRS for over 35 years. And he has extensive experience developing continuing education for the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, IRS and California Tax Education Council. Carlos is also a lecturer and presenter for the IRS National Tax Forums and holds several awards and honors.
Liz is a CPA by day and an adventurer by night. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree with majors in Accounting and Finance (in 3 years because, why not).
Liz also went to Arizona State University for a Master’s degree in Information Management to satisfy her continued curiosity of technology and innovation. Throughout her career she has worked for national firms, a local firm and now focuses on running High Rock Accounting as Founder and CEO.
