Terms and Conditions - Fieldays 2019


  1. This promotion is run on behalf of Xero Limited (NZ company number 4123758), registered office at 19-23 Taranaki Street, Wellington 6011, New Zealand (Xero) , and is open from 8am 12 June 2019 until 4pm 15 June 2019 (the Promotion).  Xero may extend, cancel or amend this Promotion and/or review and update these terms and conditions on its website at any time, at its sole discretion.  By continuing to take part in the Promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.

  2. Entry to the Promotion  is open to anyone with the legal right to own and operate a business in New Zealand but excluding: (1) anyone aged 18 or under; (2) employees of Xero or their families; and (3) anyone professionally connected with the Prize (each an Eligible Entrant)

  3. In order to enter the promotion, and Eligible Entrant must write their name and contact or their nominated entrant details and a statement about “why I need Xero for free for one (1) year” on an entry form provided by Xero at the Fieldays 2019 event, and must attach their completed entry form to the Xero wall at the Fieldays 2019 event (Entry).

  4. An Eligible Entrant is only entitled to one (1) Entry during the Promotion

  5. Four (4) winners will each receive one(1) 12 month Xero New Zealand Business Edition Subscription valued at $660 (Prize). (Note -  After the initial 12 month subscription, the standard cost per month ($60) will be charged to the subscription owner, plus any additional products being used at the current rates, unless cancelled prior to the end of the initial 12 month subscription in accordance with the Xero terms.   6. One (1) winner will be randomly drawn at 5pm on each day of the Promotion (each a Winner).

  7. Winners of the prize will be notified by phone, or using any other contact details provided to Xero. If we have made a reasonable attempt to contact a Winner, and the Winner has not responded within three (3) business days, or the Winner is unable to use the prize, the prize will be forfeited and Xero will randomly choose another winner.  In the event of any dispute, Xero’s decision is final.

  8. Each Prize cannot be transferred to others, or exchanged for cash or other benefits and cannot be split.

  9. Any expenses (including travel, accommodation, food and beverage and any other costs) that may be incurred in relation to accepting or using the prize is the responsibility of the Winner.

  10. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xero and its affiliated companies shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence), for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss), or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion.

  11. All rights in any entries and materials provided to Xero through participation in this Promotion become Xero’s property.  By participating Winner agrees to participate in any publicity related to the Prize, and that Xero can use Winners likeness, image and/or voice (including photographs, film and/or recording) in any media for an unlimited period of time without payment, to promote Xero and any of its other products.

  12. By participating in the Promotion and by submitting any contact details, Winner consents to receive the latest news, special offers, promotions and information from Xero by email, TXT or other channels from time to time. If at any stage Winner does not want to receive this information then please let Xero know, or use unsubscribe feature on emails Xero sends Winner. Any personal information which Xero collects from Winner can be used in accordance with Xero’s Privacy Policy (

  13. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
