Linford Grey Associates

Total Xero

A finalist in this category last year, Leicester-based Linford Grey Associates clinched the top spot this time by demonstrating outstanding vision and ambition. The judges were particularly impressed with how the firm embraces new technology in ways that ensure their clients reap the benefits.

Whether it is using Hubdoc to take away the stress of data entry, combining Calendly and Zapier to set agendas for regular 45-min health check ins or beta-testing Pay With Transferwise to save time paying bills, Linford Grey are always looking for ways to add extra value to the client experience. Judge Penny Power, founder of Business is Personal, said they showed “a real commitment to the advancements of digital.”

They have also positioned themselves as thought leaders in the industry, educating both their clients and the wider accounting world on how digital tools can drive business, through newsletters, blogs and social media. Using Loom software they created an internal resource of how-to videos to guide clients through the Xero experience and have helped many improve their own tech stack. “The use of webinars to help clients see the art of the possible is a really nice way to reach out and advance skills,” says Power. “They are really leading and influencing their community.”
