We’re excited to announce that Document Packs are now live in Xero HQ, and just in time for the end of the financial year. As part of Xero HQ, Document Packs will give you an easy way to share documents with your clients, and includes the ability to add e-signatures through Xero Sign powered by Adobe Sign. It’s now available for advisors in Australia using Xero Tax and Xero Practice Manager.

Kerrie Flood from Gilroy Barnes and Associates was part of the pilot group and has been testing the product the last few months. She says she’d be completely lost without it now.

“When I saw Document Packs previewed at Xero Roadshow, I thought ‘I have to have it’. It’s going to save me massive amounts of time come EOFY, because I was having issues sending forms separately and not getting them back from clients. It’s awesome to have it all together in one place.”

Ready for tax time

If you spend a lot of time chasing clients to sign documents, then Document Packs is for you. This tool will make it easy to digitally organise your clients’ financial documents and complete their tax returns. It will give you a secure way to share documents and get them signed electronically, all within Xero.

Now you can create tax returns straight from Xero Tax and add them to a Document Pack along with any published reports so clients can review all year-end material at the same time. If your client group contains multiple Xero entities, no problem. They can all be combined into the same Document Pack.

If you need to attach any supporting documents that aren’t generated in Xero, such as directors resolutions, group tax summaries, or even a cover letter for your client, you can upload them directly from your computer to the pack. This gives you the flexibility to include exactly what you need to share with a client.

Sign securely

In order to help Xero partners to organise, send and get documents signed by clients for EOFY, users will have free use of Xero Sign powered by Adobe Sign, with Document Packs until 30 September. For the full pricing details see the price breakdown that will apply from 1 October 2020 onwards.

With Xero Sign powered by Adobe Sign, clients can sign their documents on the device that’s most convenient for them, whether that’s a desktop, mobile or  tablet. You’ll also get email notifications as soon as the documents are signed.

To set up and use Document Packs, you’ll need to be using Xero Tax and have e-sign enabled. You’ll also need to connect Xero Tax to Xero HQ. Then you can begin saving time during this EOFY – and beyond – with Document Packs.
