Fresh Accounting started off as an individual trader before becoming a multi-million dollar turnover business today that provides accounting solutions tailored to your needs and requirements. A Xero platinum partner, Fresh Accounting serves clients in 15 different industries with an array of Xero-integrated apps.

Fresh Accounting has not missed a Xerocon since 2015. And often not just one, but at least four team members will attend. Paul Gardner, Fresh Accounting founder, says “It’s expensive for a relatively small business like us but it’s a good investment.” In this blog, Paul shares with us why the investment in Xerocon has always been worthwhile.

Everything that’s great about Xero, all in one place

Paul describes Xerocon as the centre of everything he wants. “Xerocon is an opportunity for me to stay updated with the latest Xero developments, and to meet new and old friends all in one place.” Xerocon presents an excellent opportunity for Paul to take time out to engage with like-minded individuals and explore how Xero can help his practice grow.

“We are a progressive firm but Xero enables us to learn and evolve along the way. This allows us to serve our clients and meet their expectations with a better version of ourselves everyday.”

Relationships that result in partnerships

Not only an event for you to learn, Xerocon is a place where you can build your network, too. Paul’s most memorable experience of his three years at Xerocon is of Rod Drury, Xero founder and former CEO, on a skateboard. This highlights the event’s informal setting, bringing delight and comfort to everyone present. “With Xerocon’s natural and friendly setting, I can establish connections with potential partners, ultimately forming key relationships for my practice.”

Be the best accounting practice you can be

Fresh Accounting originated and is based out of the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, and Paul knows the importance of staying relevant. “Hong Kong and Singapore are both great cities to start an accounting firm. Even though it takes effort to build, we are really excited to be a 100% Xero cloud based accounting firm.” He believes that moving on to Xero allows him to shape his business to best take on this dynamic market.

Paul and his team are thrilled to be with us at Xerocon this year and are especially looking forward to the Xero partner awards day. So what are you waiting for? Join us at Xerocon Brisbane in September and experience the event for yourself!
