At Xero, input from our partners is key to helping us shape our product. This means every one of our 540+ updates in the last year was aimed squarely at making your life easier.
As we move towards 100,000 subscribers in the UK, we’re making sure development stays aligned to your needs by bolstering links with the accounting community. And to help us achieve it, we’ve appointed Paul Bulpitt, co-founder of The Wow Company, as our new Head of Accounting in the UK. Paul will be working for Xero on a part-time advisory basis, while also continuing his day-to-day management of The Wow Company.
An influential leader from a progressive practice
Paul founded The Wow Company in 2004, building a fast-growing national firm exclusively serving small businesses. Driven by a focus on personal relationships and progressive processes, The Wow Company has earned numerous accolades at the Xero Awards, as well as the Practice Growth Award at the 2014 Practice Excellence awards.
The Wow Company was one of the first practices in the UK to join our Partner Programme – today that programme boasts more than 3,000 practices nationwide. As it continues to grow, Paul will become a leading accounting industry advocate for practices in the UK.
Representation where it matters most
Paul is in a great position to champion the perspectives of both the practices and small businesses that use Xero. It’s a unique position which will be instrumental in pushing our product and ecosystem in the right direction.
Part of his remit is representing the views of the community to our internal teams, helping us to better serve customers through unbiased feedback. He’ll be connecting with people from every department of our business to help us respond to your requirements better than ever.
External representation forms another part of his role. Paul will be charged with conveying your needs to legislators and decision-makers as we build the most supportive environment for the future of small business and accounting.
It’s another exciting development for Xero, and there are many more to come. Check back on the Xero blog regularly to stay in the know.
