Does anyone know of a NZ option like the above, or one in development?

Hi @HeatherSmithAU here. This looks like a great solution.

So your solution takes the money from the customers account automatically? Is that correct?

Do you handle multi-currency?

What stops your solution being a global solution? It seems like everything happens outside Xero – so it would not matter what country it is in??

Do you populate Xero with individual invoices, or do you maintain the invoices in your system?

Do you connect to an “item” or a general ledger code in Xero.

I have used ReRun extensively – it is the go-to solution for recurring billing. Pair it up with Xero’s Stripe integration and you have a complete billing suite for any small business.

Hi Heather,

To answer your questions from above, please see below:

1. The customers will have their Credit Cards charged based on the frequency of the payment stream that you set. With eChecks, it will operate the same way but instead will withdraw money from their accounts directly.

2. Unfortunately Rerun does not support multi-currency.

3. Our gateway is US/CA only. The customers that you bill will need a US or Canadian Bank Account.

4. When a payment is processed and synced to Xero, an invoice gets created and is paid off all at the same time. What you see in Xero is a paid sales transaction, after syncing with Rerun.

5. Depending on how you set up your payment streams is how we relate that to a sale in Xero. If you use an item created from Xero on your payment stream, then that item is carried through to Xero when the paid invoice is created. Otherwise, if you use items that were created in Rerun, then the General Ledger Account that you select under the Settings Tab is used instead.

Since Xero creates and pays invoices created and imported by Rerun, does this replace “repeating invoices” in xero?

July 21, 2014 at 5:51 pm

I hope someone can help me. I want to be able to send invoices based directly on what is in my calendar. Because the jobs I have coming in are ever changing, I want to use my calendar as my central point of booking jobs, then at invoicing day, select a date range the send out bulk invoices based directly on the information that is in my calendar for the past two weeks.
Is there something that does this?

Does Xero offer recurring billing integrations for companies outside USA/Canada?

@Daniel – Where repeating invoices sends out invoices to a client, rerun will actually process payment on a recurring schedule. Much more convenient for the client to set up recurring payment. So, no rerun does not replace “repeating invoices”, it performs a different function.

@Andrew This sounds more like an idea for an “Add-on”. You can post ideas in our user voice form

@Chris – Currently we don’t have any add-ons outside the US that perform recurring billing, but we regularly certifying new add-ons. Continue to check back for the latest additions to the add-on marketplace.
