Workpapers are live in the UK

Richard Francis UK Workpapers

Off the back of our announcement at Xerocon UK last week, we’re proud to release Workpapers for our UK Partners.

Workpapers makes core compliance services much more efficient by allowing accountants to:

  • seamlessly connect Xero data with online workpapers

  • import and attach supporting documentation

  • use dashboards and iconography for a clear view of job progress

  • interact online with clients and team members

  • maintain a clear audit trail of communications, queries and changes

  • auto-journal changes to Xero, keeping the single ledger in sync

  • prepare and review workpapers more effectively than traditional, EXCEL-based products.

Check out the video for a overview:

Note that recent releases allow:

  • ‘Favourite’ workpapers to be applied across other jobs or practice-wide

  • Archiving of completed workpaper packs

  • Bulk send of queries to client entity types.

Workpapers is part of our disruptive single ledger strategy of building core accountant features around the same data as client features. With over 250 accounting firms already using Workpapers since open release in April, significant time and cost improvements are already the norm.

Looking to the future, Workpapers will be aligned even more closely with practice management, tax and reporting software into a product suite called Practice Studio. We give it away as part of the Xero Partner Program to our Silver+ Partners.

The UK is an important market for Xero and we’re continuing to invest heavily in providing our accounting and bookkeeping partners with all the tools they need to work more closely with small businesses. By helping streamline compliance work we free our partners up so they can invest their efforts in providing higher value advisory services that really make a difference.

You can find out how easy it is to get up and running with Workpapers by attending one of our webinars or sign up now.

Can’t wait to get started this is such a great addition.

Not sure why you have picked a picture of Richard where he looks like he is going to blow up the joint.
