Xero Add-on partners growing & listing

It is great to see not just one, but two Xero Add-on partners in the news today.

GeoOp listed

Field service and job management Add-on partner GeoOp recently announced a NZ$10m funding round, and listed today on the New Zealand NZAX exchange.

Unleashed closes funding round

Not to be outdone, inventory management Add-on partner Unleashed Software today announced they have secured NZ $4m in new funding to continue their expansion into Australian and US markets. More on this at NZHerald.co.nz.

Investment is a great barometer

GeoOp and Unleashed are great examples of the growth we are seeing in the Xero ecosystem and we are delighted to see them continue to raise their game and keep pace with us.

For us it validates two things:
1) The investment we have made in building our channel can work as a platform for others.
2) There are no short-cuts – full credit for their achievements to date go to the GeoOp and Unleashed teams who have put in the hard yards building great product, marketing it with their own flair, and developing their sales channels.

We need a healthy ecosystem because we know our small business customers want applications and services that complement Xero, and they want them in the cloud.

For our part, we will keep working on building the Add-on partner program, and supporting it with a best in class API (check out the home page to see the pace of feature delivery).

I think you’ll find that’s complement rather than compliment. Actually, I can live with either 😉
