In the US, the future of accounting has arrived via Xerocon San Francisco and we’ll be unveiling all the details starting tomorrow. But, first, let’s wrap up Xero US Summer Camp.
Summer Camp was a packed month of training – one live, online course every business day. For accounting professionals, there were 16 unique courses, 16 CPE credits available, webinars, podcasts and a Xero t-shirt up for grabs.
Summer Camp was well received with almost 200 Xero partners attending over the month and with some partners attending over 10 sessions. The top three webinars were “Becoming a Virtual CFO”, “Marketing for Accounting Professionals” and “Grow Your Practice Using an Entrepreneurial Mindset”. If you missed them, go to the Xero Summer Camp page to watch the recordings (we are still working to post some of them). For small businesses, there were options as well with five courses offered. We thank you all, both accounting professionals and small businesses, for your time and interest in Xero.
Xerocon San Francisco
With the Summer Camp momentum, we are thrilled about this upcoming week. We have over 350 accounting professionals (and in total over 400 delegates) committed to attend the Xerocon conference held and repeated over September 4th and 5th at the Terra Gallery in San Francisco. Tickets are still available and can be found on the Xerocon page of our website..
In conjunction with the conference, we are fully booked for 2 days of Xero certification classes (80 attendees), Welcome Drinks & Networking events tonight and tomorrow night, Thursday’s Gala Awards Dinner at the Waka M?ori on the New Zealand America’s Cup base (200+ attendees). Finally, we are capping off the entire week with an America’s Cup viewing event on Saturday to watch the first day of the America’s Cup finals where Emirates Team New Zealand takes on the Oracle Team USA.
We are looking forward to a full week and to meeting many of you in person. For those who aren’t able to attend, we’ll be updating the blog over the week with the comings and goings. So bookmark the Xero Blog!
