Great quote

Just love this quote on business models …

“If you are not paying for it, you’re not the customer; you’re the product being sold.”

From I hope iAd fails

I think that replaces my past favorite quote …

I hope that when I die people say of me ‘Man, that guy sure owed me a lot of money

Great quote.

I also like John Ruskin’s “When you pay too much you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything”.

And on a lighter note a variation on the second one that I have always liked is Spike Milligan’s epitaph: “I told you I was ill”.

“If you are not paying for it, you’re not the customer; you’re the product being sold.”
Absolutely spot on… and well worth remembering the next time you Google for something whilst signed in!

Here’s another business quote for you to enjoy. “There will be only two kinds of managers: the quick, and the dead.” David Vice, Northern Telecom, USA – c. 1995 Prophetic, I think!
