Knitting for Xero

When I’m not tweeting for Xero I unwind with a couple of needles and a ball of wool. I like to make sure the next generation of Xeroes is committed to our brand, so have knitted in Xero colors for new babies that arrive for our team.

I’ve made a few things now, usually all from the same pattern only deviating slightly from blue and white to add an orange stripe or button to leave my mark!

Except for the very first thing I knitted. This was for Hamish’s son way back in Xero’s early days when we had pink in our brand (his father does wear pink so I figured it was OK!).

Since then I’ve stuck to blue and white and in the last 3 and a half years have knitted up 8 things!

Last week I had the rare opportunity to see my latest knitting being modeled, Owen’s daughter Sophie came to visit the office in her new Xero cardigan – what a cutie!

Oh that’s adorable. You’re like the Xero camp-mother.

Is it just me, or is that child in the middle photo (who I’ve never seen before) *especially* cute?

I’m sure that question was supposed to be rhetorical, but yes indeed, there’s all kind of cuteness there!
