Seamless event management

Managing training and events can be tricky and we’re conscious of making the process seamless for everyone involved. To run our new Events section, we’ve engaged LearningSource, a SaaS event and training management platform provider.

We like the way LearningSource helps us manage all the hard things associated with running events, such as seating capacity, automated reminders, directions to the venue – especially if there are some last minute changes or we need to replicate the event across multiple time zones. Combining these features with the standard calendar and registration processes gives us a great tool for organising training or events.

LearningSource runs seamlessly in the background, ensuring the right fit with the look and feel of our website. Whether events are online such as our free webinars or off-line such as roadshows and forums, they are all run through the same interface.

All this supports our goal to promote our partners and their services to the Xero community.

I have had a look around the Learning Source website and it looks to be a great product. The company’s website, blog and the user interface of the actual product look spookily similar to Xero’s. What’s that about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery?

@Adrian – cheers for the comment. Yes LearningSource is similar in look to Xero – unsurprising seeing both LearningSource and Xero are SaaS vendors from the same city in New Zealand who both use each others product. Xero has won a bunch of awards for it’s design and UI, what’s not to imitate?
