Flying from the New Zealand city of Christchurch, south to Dunedin, Derek the owner of slushy machine distributor Fruzo was aware that the woman sitting next to him was having a bad day. Her accounting system was just not working for her. Simple administrative tasks were a struggle, let alone managing her business.
Derek had only been using Xero for about a month. When his chance to participate in the conversation arose, he told her Xero had completely changed the way he did business. He now had time for the more important things in life, rather than making sure his accounts were up-to-date at the end of each day. Xero made this easier for him and only took a fraction of the time.
On hearing this, another woman sitting in front of Derek turned around and said that she used Xero too and agreed with Derek’s assessment of the product. What are the chances of two Xero customers sitting seats apart on a national flight?
It’s now four months since Derek started using Xero and he continues to recommend others try it, particularly his suppliers.
