Nice way to finish the week

It’s coming to the end of our financial year and our team is working really, really hard on all fronts.

Since last year end we’ve really focussed on the accountants channel. Listening to what they need and also suggesting that being connected to their customers by online software gives them a great opportunity to enhance they way they work with their clients.

Accountants have generally been supportive of us, but over the last year have told us “looking great, but you need just a bit more”.  Rather than run out and do a lot of the cooler stuff we wanted to do, we kept focus on the core accounting engine and over the last few months have progressively delivered on our promise to accountants.

We’ve seen a tipping point recently. Accountants are now calling us and planning to migrate their entire customer base to Xero.  I bumped into Debbie, one of our new partners in the Hawkes Bay today, who said “we’re getting a 100% hit rate on Xero with new customers.” (- case study ordered of course, stay tuned :)

Today I saw the new website of one of our great Canterbury partners. Look at their stunning website:

For us, seeing accountants that truly get how business is changing, and are willing to link themselves so strongly to us is incredibly satisfying and humbling.

Thank you David and team for your support and trust.  It makes us want to work even harder.

What a great way to finish another huge week.

New models of working, such as the single ledger, ...
