I moved over to Xero from Saasu in Feb. We always use repeatable invoices as we charge all clients monthly in arrears. Our invoices always go out on the last day of the month. However, there doesn’t seem to be a way to achieve this with Xero, as there is no ‘last day of the month’ setting. Every month i am having to go through every single repeating invoice before month end, setting the date. In my first 3 months i have had to do 28/02/13, 31/03/13 and 30/04/13. Is there anyway around this huge overhead or if not do you plan to resolve this?
You also have the option “of the current month” You could set your invoices to go out on, say, the 30th of the current month. This would not always be exactly the last day but if you could live with that, then this might be the best option. You may still have to change Feb manually.
In MYOB there are recurring transactions which you can set to any frequency you like, it doesn’t have to be weekly or monthly. Is this acheivable in Xero as we have regular clients that we bill identically for each time, but it’s not necessarily every week or every month?
hi I know its an old post but would selecting “Due: 0, day(s) after the end of the bill month” work?
